Dwell Properties

About Us

Property management is still stuck in a loop of missed texts, chaotic phone calls, and buried emails. When a maintenance issue pops up, the coordination between landlords, tenants, and vendors is usually slow, manual, and frustrating for everyone involved.

We built Dwell to fix that.

We’ve created an operations platform that turns that friction into a smooth, automated workflow. Instead of playing phone tag, tenants report issues through a simple interface. From there, our technology takes over—translating messy descriptions into structured tickets and coordinating the resolution in real-time.
Our goal is simple: faster fixes, less manual work for landlords, and total transparency for tenants. We’re starting with maintenance, but our long-term vision is to be the intelligent engine that powers every day-to-day operation for a property.

The Founder

Rashaun Tandon founded Dwell with a clear mission: to bring technical precision and modern systems to an industry that has been overlooked by the digital age.

Entrepreneurship and data-driven innovation are part of Rashaun’s DNA. His grandfather, Sirjang Lal Tandon, was a pioneer in the data storage industry who developed the double-sided floppy disk. His father, Rajeev Tandon, is a veteran software executive and serial entrepreneur who founded global technology leaders like Xavient, catering to the complex needs of Fortune 500 companies.

Rashaun holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California, a background that informs his perspective on navigating complex, fragmented systems. Growing up in an environment defined by technical scaling, he learned that the best solutions don’t just add a digital layer to a problem—they rebuild the workflow from the ground up. He started Dwell after seeing how outdated property management felt, and today, he is focused on using intelligent automation to eliminate the operational headaches that hold landlords back.
